Twenty years ago today, Kathy and I were married at St. John’s Catholic Church in Omaha. Family and friends from Milwaukee to Omaha joined the celebration. Fr. Cahill, S.J. presided while our good friend Fr. Bob Dufford, S.J. directed the music. Of special significance was the debut of Bob’s new song “Love One Another.” The verses we chose for our ceremony were eventually named the wedding verses when the song was later published and recorded. (Click here and then click on one of the listen buttons to hear a segment of the song.)
Friends and family…please share a memory of the courtship, wedding or any other memory of the past 20 years!
Happy anniversary, Kathy. I love you more than ever!

Happy anniversary. Did you know that you share your day with Brett Favre? He was 18 years old on your wedding day. Thanks for the beautiful grandkids and great grandkids.

John - Kathy…
There’s no way it’s been 20 years!!!! Why I remember it like it was yesterday,
noise coming out of the cabin next door…like there was something passionate going on…
but it was probably just my vivid imagination!!!! What a honeymoon we all had together!!
Nothing but the best to you two - and your beautiful kids. My daughter lives near Milwaukee,
will probably be visiting sometime within the next 6 months - possibly get together?
Would also enjoy speaking with you sometime. Let me know a good # to call.
